A premium adjustable mitre bar fits standard mitre slots with zero wiggle, and the heavy-duty aluminium fence extends for improved workpiece support. With a calibrated scale, telescoping extension, and a micro-adjustable flip stop for repeatable cuts, the SMG turns complex angle cuts and production-style crosscuts into fast, accurate, and reliable operations.

Features

• The precision protractor head features a pointer and 90 positive notches in 1° increments on each side of 0°, including dedicated 22.5° stops, with a built-in Vernier scale for fine adjustment in 0.1° increments.
• The 457.2 mm (18") long miter bar fits standard 9.52 mm (3/8") × 19.05 mm (3/4") miter slots and uses six adjustable washers to eliminate side-to-side play while maintaining a smooth, consistent glide. A screw-on T-clip at the front of the bar keeps it level in the slot when the head is lifted off the table.
• The aluminium fence provides a larger reference surface for accurate workpiece support, with a telescoping extension reaching 800.1 mm (31-1/2"), or 863.6 mm (34") with the flip stop installed. A front-facing T-slot allows attachment of auxiliary wooden fences using T-bolts, while the calibrated top scale enables precise crosscuts without measuring or marking.
• The flip stop allows fast, repeatable cuts for identical parts, indexing along the fence in fine 0.79 mm (1/32") increments. Its dual arms can be set independently or linked together with a connecting rod, with final positioning fine-tuned using the built-in micro-adjuster.
