StopLossBags Steward Collapsible Funnel
The specially formulated Steward collapsible funnel allows you to transfer your paint from a litre can to a Steward bag in one easy step. The large end stretches over the top of the can while the small end fits the Steward bag top nozzle. Before attaching the funnel blow air into the bag and then remove the lid to the side nozzle to allow the finish to fully transfer.
The funnel is simple to clean. Place it upside down on a folded paper towel overnight. The dried finish peels easily from the inside. Note that, oil paint finishes may need to be cleaned with solvents.
Compatibility
Steward Bags are suitable for water and oil-based paints and stains, along with spirit-based finishes.
Do not use with liquids containing acetone, benzene, lacquer, lacquer thinner, methyl ethyl ketone (MEK), toluene, xylene, isobutanol alcohol, ethyl alcohol, or ethanol alcohol. Some paint thinners may contain one or more of these solvents.
For bags previously used with oil-based finishes, cleaning with white spirits is recommended.
Filling Steward Bags
The collapsible funnel allows paint or finish to be transferred from a standard litre can directly into a Steward bag in one simple step. The wide end stretches over the can opening, while the narrow end fits the bag’s filling nozzle.
Before filling, inflate the bag with air and remove the secondary nozzle to allow air to escape during transfer, preventing pressure build-up and spillage. The funnel is easy to clean — dried finishes peel away after resting overnight on a folded paper towel. Thin oil finishes may require solvent cleaning.
